Last year, The Wildlife Center cared for a total of 2,479 animals of over 100 species. Of the total number of animals that were brought to us, over 1,700 were injured or orphaned wild babies, including 883 baby songbirds, 693 baby mammals, and 139 baby raptors. In addition, our Wildlife Emergency Hotline received over 13,000 calls, with the largest number coming in during baby season
We hope you will join us in both celebrating and supporting this busy time of year by adopting one of our wild babies. Adoption donations can be made on our web site, by clicking here. You may also send in a check donation to: The Wildlife Center; 100 Terrace Drive; Pelham AL 35124. Simply include a check with a note specifying which animal you have chosen to adopt.
Please note: The Adopt-an-Animal Program is a contribution to help the animals that we care for at The Wildlife Center. You will not be receiving an actual animal in return for your contribution. The animals cared for at The Wildlife Center are rehabilitated and released back into the wild.
