2006 Christmas Craft and Bake Sale

Saturday, December 9, 2006, 9a.m. to 2 p.m.

               

 

Select your holiday-themed crafts and gifts, along with gift-wrapped seasonal baked goods, while enjoying the festive holiday atmosphere with hot apple cider and cookies and fireside story-telling at the Alabama Wildlife Center, Oak Mountain State Park.  Children can be photographed in Santa’s Sleigh, and make pinecone bird feeders.  Up-close visits with Coosa the Barred Owl and Natchez the Mississippi Kite at 10-11:30 a.m. 12:00 to 1:30.   Wildlife Center tours available on the hour.

Proceeds benefit the Alabama Wildlife Center, caring for 2,500 injured and orphaned native wild animals of over 100 species annually, while educating Alabamians to understand and appreciate our precious natural heritage.

Admission is free with park admission.
